Pine Belt Quilters, Inc. was organized in October 1984 in Mississippi with about 25 members. We now average 110 members from a 100 mile radius and meet on the second Wednesday of each month. The guild consists of beginner and experienced quilters who share enthusiasm, knowledge, ideas, and love of quilts and quilting. The purposes of Pine Belt Quilters include encouraging and promoting the art of quilting and preservation of quilts, providing opportunities to exhibit examples of quilting and related needlework, and sharing quilting through community service activities.
